Endotoxin Testing

Bacterial endotoxin testing by kinetic chromogenic LAL assay for peptide lots, bacteriostatic water, and reconstitution solutions. Every result is issued on a report you can verify online.

Independent analytical laboratory

Endotoxin, measured and reported as found.

BioRegen is an independent analytical laboratory. We do not sell, source, or formulate peptides. Clients submit samples; we measure bacterial endotoxin by kinetic chromogenic LAL assay on an Endosafe nexgen-PTS and report the value in EU/mL against the specification.

Testing

Two report formats.

Endotoxin on its own, or endotoxin with pH measured on the same sample. Accepted samples include peptide lots, bacteriostatic water, reconstitution solutions, and buffers such as PBS.

Endotoxin (LAL)

Kinetic chromogenic LAL assay on an Endosafe nexgen-PTS. The result is reported in EU/mL against the specification with a pass or fail status.

Range 0.05 to 5.0 EU/mL, with spike recovery on every run.

Endotoxin + pH

The LAL report with potentiometric pH measured on the same sample and reported with temperature against its specification.

Common for bacteriostatic water and reconstitution solutions.

How it works

From quote to report.

01

Request a quote

Tell us the sample type, number of lots, and whether pH is needed. We reply with sample requirements, shipping instructions, and pricing.

02

Ship the sample

Each lot is logged on receipt with its batch number and you are notified when it enters the queue.

03

Analysis

Each run includes a spike recovery check, and the data is reviewed by an analytical chemist before release.

04

Report released

Each lot is issued its own report, with a number and validation key, in the client portal and by email.

The report

What a BioRegen LAL report contains.

Every report is issued per lot and carries a number and validation key, so any result can be traced to the original record.

Verify a report

Both values are printed on the report.

FAQ

Common questions about endotoxin testing.

Limulus amebocyte lysate reacts with bacterial endotoxin. In the kinetic chromogenic format the rate of colour change is proportional to the endotoxin concentration, which is read against a standard curve and reported in EU/mL.

Endotoxin units per millilitre, the standard unit of endotoxin activity. The report states the measured value and the specification it was compared with.

Each sample is also run with a known amount of endotoxin added. Recovery within the acceptance range confirms the sample did not interfere with the assay and the result is valid.

Yes. Bacteriostatic water, reconstitution solutions, and buffers are accepted, and pH can be measured on the same sample and reported alongside the endotoxin result.

No. Endotoxin is a separate report with its own number and validation key. Purity, identity, and quantity are reported on the peptide testing certificate.

Enter the report number and validation key in the verification tool above, or use the Verify button in the header, to retrieve the original report.
